Menu-on-line is an information application which allows tables and menus to be reserved instantly over the internet.
It is a technical link between the restaurant and the client which facilitates buying and selling.

Reservation Fee

According to the specific terms and conditions of every establishment, which are displayed during the reservation process, the reservation fee and the installment of the guarantee are either 1) entirelly deduced from the bill. 2) issued by the restaurateur after the service provided. Or 3) only deduced from the amount of the guarantee.

The conditions relating to the reservation fee are always clearly stipulated during the reservation process. 

Conditions of conforming to the reservation and service and lateness

The table will be held for a period of 20 minutes for the client by the restaurateur if they are late. In cases of the client being late by more than 20 minutes, they have the right to telephone the restaurant to inform them if this is the case. In all cases of lateness, it is the rights of restauranteur to decide if the service can be delivered, without possible appeal.

Conditions applicable for the cancellation of reservations

All cancelations must be made by the client a minimum of 1 hour before the date and time of the reservation.
This operation must be done either by email, through the « annulation » heading, by returning the confirmation of reservation email or by a telephone call to the restaurateur. These are stated in the reservation email which is received by the client.

Reservations in all cases, can not be cancelled within the 1 hour time period before the date and time of the reservation and will be subject to a fee, in which case the reservation fee will be kept by menu-on-line.

Conditions applicable for no shows

A no show is classed as a client that is later than 20 minutes for the service without prior contact (see above) or does not turn up for the reservation. In all cases, after being classed as a no show, the client has no possibility of reemboursement.

Processes

Menu-on-line takes a debit from the credit card used to make the reservation with the fee starting off at 1.90€. This constitutes the reservation fee and eventually the guarantee.

Responsibility and Processes

The restaurant is solely responsible for the quality and conformity of their service, as well as the information published in the reservation module. In the case of not respecting this statement, the client can use their rights in quoting this previous statement.

All reservations made instantly are confirmed by the restaurant who have to supply the service offered. In cases of unavailability of the service, despite the client having a reservation, the restaurant is solely responsible to inform the client of this news. 

The process does not need any verification on the part of the restaurant, except for a reservation of a group containing more than 4 people or for a reservation made at the last minute - one hour before the time of the service. In this case the restaurateur can reserve the right to verify the identity of the person making the reservation before confirming the reservation. The reservation would only be confirmed after this verification has taken place.

Litigations

In the case of litigation, a tribunal at a Paris court is the only option.
